About The Event: Hot Summer Nights is an annual, free, district-wide music and arts festival held in the heart of Austin’s Red River Cultural District.Spanning venues from 6th to 15th Street, the festival transforms the area into a vibrant hub of live performances, art, and community engagement. Founded in 2017 by the nonprofit Red River Cultural District, the event was created to provide additional revenue to district members and paid opportunities for musicians and artists during the traditionally slower summer months.
